What Goes Into Every Bag

A 60:40 blend — 60% food-grade tofu litter, 40% sodium bentonite. The ratio is engineered, not accidental: bentonite fills the gaps between tofu granules, so the clump is hard without giving up flushability.

Draft ratios — 60:40 is the standard, but the ratio is adjustable by project. Confirm with production and request the CAS-level ingredient sheet with your samples.

Granule Size & Scent

• 1.5 mm — the best-selling specification: low tracking, compatible with automatic self-cleaning boxes
• Tofu 2–3 mm column + bentonite 1–3.5 mm sphere — the visual mix that sells the “two materials” story on shelf

Packaging & Loading

Bag formats: self-supporting, flat-bottom, woven, vacuum, fin-lap seal, back-seal reinforced, plastic barrel. Sizes: 2.4kg · 2.5kg · 5kg · 10kg — custom on request. Vacuum packing is recommended: it compresses the bag for shipping and protects the tofu component from humidity in transit.

Loading reference: at 500–600 g/L the blend sits between the two parent materials — usually volume-limited in a 20GP*. Ask sales for the loading plan against your actual bag drawing; a change in carton dimensions moves the number more than buyers expect.

Which Markets Choose the Blend

The blend is the safest first SKU for a market that has not decided yet. It is the best-selling mixed format globally because it asks the end customer to compromise on nothing: hard clumps like clay, flushable like tofu. Stock it when your buyers are first-time litter importers, when you sell into mixed retail where one SKU must serve every household, or when you want the “60% plant-based” claim on pack without the clumping complaints that pure tofu sometimes generates. Before You Request a Quote

Shelf life: 24 months sealed in a cool, dry place (5–30°C recommended). Keep bags sealed against moisture.

Flush in moderation: the tofu fraction dissolves, the bentonite fraction does not. Advise end customers to flush no more than two clumps at a time and to check local plumbing rules — this protects you from complaints later.

HS code: mixed litter is classified differently depending on destination and on which component dominates the declaration — confirm with your broker and we will match our paperwork to it.
